Firearms Safety Courses – Longarms Only

Victoria Police conducts Firearms Safety Courses in the FACTC Clubrooms on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday (evenings) of each month, and more frequently when there is the demand.

Attending this course is a requirement in obtaining your firearms license and bookings are required through the Somerville Police Station. The District Firearms Officer, Kevin Walsh, can be contacted on (03) 5978-1346. Alternatively, please submit an online application to attend which will be emailed directly to Kevin Walsh.
